Where can I buy monarchs to raise?

We highly discourage purchasing monarchs from commercial retailers to raise and release into the wild. Monarchs bred in captivity for commercial purposes have a lower genetic diversity, higher disease transmission rates, and are less genetically and physically fit compared to their wild counterparts.
